Apple comes home Thursday and I am a nervous wreck.. I have cage food playstand toys harness... what am I missing... I have taken off work for thursday and friday so I can get her comfortable in her new home.... took maternity leave.. after all I am an new parront... am I missing something... do I have everything

Be calm! I'm sure you have everything ready and it will be just fine!!!! Stick a stuff parrot in the cage for now and pretend it's Apple and start talking to him/her.

Forgot to mention, make sure you take a video of it for us to see you talking to the stuffed parrot then later show to Apple how you prepared.

Upload them to photobucket! Then copy the direct link and on top of the window where your typing your reply or post in here there's a little picture icon, click on that then paste your link within then click ok. I think your able to add up to 5 pictures per post? You basically click on the end of your last image that's in your box, then click enter on your keyboard, then in your other window go to your next pic and copy the direct link on it then come in and click on the pic icon again and do the same thing all over again. It's pretty simple!

When cage was mentioned, were you referring to a regular cage or a travel cage? What are you bringing Apple home in? A box? lol. Just kidding.

Perches- natural wood? Pedi perches? Cement? Rope? Boing?
Play stand?
Cage- sleep? Regular size? Travel size?
Dishes?
Food- pellets? Fresh fruits n veggies? Treats?
First aid stuff- nail clippers? Quik stop?
Shower perch? Spray bottle for misting showers?
Avian vet lined up? Appointment made?

Shy, have the cage completely ready for your girl, toys included. I'd put at least 2 in there, and perhaps ask T&D what she likes to play with so you can possibly duplicate it.

Before you put Apple in her cage, fill up her bowls with food and water.

Oh, you can also ask what her favorite treats are.

And we need pictures...pretty pretty please.
