Do molts line up?

I have four budgies who all sleep and eat in the same cage, they are out for most of the day. I've noticed for their last maybe 4-5 molts, they all line up, one starts then the other three start, within a day or two, this time it was Grim, one of the females who started it a few days ago. I supplement them with homemade egg food and like once a week I'll scrap some cuttlebone powder over the top of their chop. Does anyone else notice their birds molts lining up?

When I had more budgies I noticed they did have concordant molts (come home to masses of feathers and wonder who ‘sploded). I have 2 budgies now (a third in quarantine, but that’s a sad story for another day). Pistachio and Hopper are on opposite molting schedules.

Yes my quakers molt at the same time, tho my old gal Penny had a prolonged molt..it was way over due( past health issues)
