Parrots
I Sun Conure who hatched March 23. 2004. I adopted her on May 8, 2005
I had a Quaker Parrot named Nikki who lived for 19 years
I grew up with Budgerigars named Screech, Zoar and Blue Baby
I am just curious. I notice a particular dynamic in my flock. My Quaker seems to lead more and my sun follows. This happens in instances of when they come out of the cage and go back in.

My Sun is one month OLDER, but my Quaker has been with me ONE YEAR LONGER! I am wondering if that contributes to that particular dynamic. My Sun seems to "take the lead" only when I train both of them. I find myself working more with her becasue she is more inter it than the Quaker. Quaker loves chilling and talking more LOLf!

It is not as well defined between species, but it can and does happen. It tends to be more specific within a species, especially with flock Parrots compared to social group (family) Parrots.
