Does anyone have experience traveling in an RV with a Blue & Gold?

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with taking a B&G in an RV. I'm not sure if Maya, our 17-year-old macaw, would be able to travel in the truck for long journeys and live in the fifth wheel. She quite likes going for rides in the truck. The fifth wheel will have enough room for storing her large cage. My husband and I don't have any definite plans to travel; we would like to see the US when we retire in a couple of years. But we don't want to leave Maya behind. I couldn't leave her behind! I'm interested in hearing from anyone with any experience or anecdotes. I have a feeling it may not be a good idea. On the other hand, if she's with us nearly all the time, perhaps she'd be happy in her traveling home?!
