Does anyone know the gender of this bird?

He is 1 year old and some people have told me he is male, while others say female so I’m not sure anymore. Thanks for your help

Hmm. The trouble with colour mutations like this is that it is sometimes difficult to tell, as both males and females can have pink-ish ceres. I am no expert, but this link is super helpful - you will know how the colour of your bird's cere has changed or does change periodically (which they do as birds move in and out of their natural breeding season). It's so hard to tell from just one photo, you know!

Definitely a male! Females would have white/tan/blue ceres by the age of 1.
