Does you bird like youtube?

So who plays videos/bird songs/calls for their bird? What types of sounds do your birds like. Ziva, the little weirdo she is loves the meow mix commercial. I was able to find a ten (!!?) hour video on youtube. She also likes blue jay calls, she is always calling to the flock that live out back. Of course parrot sounds always get her attention. Also turkey and peacock calls. I really need a video camera to record her reactions.

My guys seem to hate it. I have tried to play different things for them, and they start screaming. The little guys like the finches don't mind, but the big ones aren't into it

I've tried playing videos of other parrots for Kiwi, and he couldn't care less (he couldn't care less about other real parrots). In fact, very little in the way of videos/movies phase him. He did get rather intrigued by a documentary we watched on jellyfish (go figure, he probably thought they were food:09. He does like that movie "District 9". He's always made noises similar to the "aliens". I think when he hears them, he feels he's amongst friends

None of our birds seem to care about the actual videos, but we do pull up songs on youtube all the time if we don't have them on our playlist

Interesting. Ziva loves looking at pictures on the computer, and she chases the pointer around the screen. The meow mix commercial though is her favorite. She goes nuts whenever she hears it. Runs around, puffs up and tweets.

Kiwi chases the pointer too! It's very cute. She also runs up to the screen when I play parrot videos, and she will call to them too..loud..ear-piercing calls >.<

She loves any type of music video and will sometimes dance to the beat !

My GCC likes parrot videos I play for him! He looks at the other birds and sometimes chirps. He also tries to help me to type on my computer!

Mishka goes ballistic when I play youtube videos.

He loves the ones with music and dances away.

Gilbert LOVES computers. If there were a way i could safely give him one to play with, i would (he would chew it up and that has its own dangers). I often have to move the computer because he will keep flying over and making the screen light up again. Georgie did the same thing. I had once gone out and left her out of the cage (i used to do this with Georgie, and i do not recommend it anymore) and when i came back, she was in her cage hanging out, but there was a huge pile of poop on the laptop and all these "nonsense" characters in my password field. hahaha She tried to log me in Windows.
Gil will screw me up since he can activate the touch screen......
But yeah, youtube is one of his favorites. He gets into the parrot videos. ("step back, momma, that's my jam!!")

Ziva always helps me type. She even sent an unfinished message on another forum the other day. She will also spin the mouse wheel, moving my page around. Once one of my cats renamed a shortcut on my computer. Not sure how she managed that one.

I'm pretty sure Avery loves The Walking Dead as much as me and my boyfriend do... I'm currently watching it with him and Avery is happily perched on my head chattering away as people are running away from the zombies. She fits right in with us, haha! Talks almost as much as we do when we watch it, perhaps even cheers for Daryl like we do
