Does your amazon nibble on your hands?

My amazon likes to start nibbling on my hands, she goes very soft at first but after 20-30 seconds she starts going a little harder and then a little harder until finally it starts hurting.

Does your amazon do this?

Why do they always start out going very gentle, but then get progressively harder until it starts to hurt and I have to pull my hand away?

What I don't get is she must know that by biting hard I jolt my hand away and throw her off, shouldn't this scare her from biting hard the next time?

My amazon will do that plus will preen hair or my late husbands beard and the favorite is to go after a scab or rough spot on your hands or arm.

I suspect yours might be going after some sort of specific attention from you.
