Kyoto (AKA Kyo)-Green Cheek Conure
Charlie - Canary
Tommy - Budgie
Sunny - budgie
Just a curious momma here. When I'm downstairs making supper, I can often hear Kyo from upstairs singing her little heart out to the radio. It's super sweet. Reminds me of how my budgies used to chatter when they were happy.

Often when I go upstairs again she is in napping position singing away until I open the door too. She doesn't usually sing when I'm in the room with her (just talks a bit).

Anyone else's conure sing a lot? I love hearing her little chatter <3

Hmm. Does she sound like a cockatiel singing, or just a chirp, chirp singing? Tiki often does a chirping noise when in his cage and he makes squeaky toy-like noises. It is so darn adorable to hear them.

Same for my Jojo, spent 6 months living with 20 parrotlets. Awesome bird vocabulary!

My Lily loves to sing and dance. Every time we leave the house for a few hours, as soon as we let her out of her cage when we come back, she always fly off, perch on the nearest chair, and singing and dancing. She fans out her tail, fluff the feathers around her neck, march back and forth with her head bobbing up and down while singing. Of course, we have to sing (a special song) and shake our heads too for her to do that.

Also, every time when I brush me teeth, she always follow me and crawl inside my shirt by my neck as I lean forward into the sink. My pajama shirt slacks and she goes into and sing like a parakeet while bobbing her head up and down. She is singing and dancing to the sound of my electric toothbrush. I can smell her breath every time. It smell like yogurt.

My sun conure grunts, clucks, quacks, or screeches. Sometimes he whispers like a madman, words that kind of make sense but not really. He is not a songbird I'm afraid. Awesome that yours sings! Never knew conures could do that!

Foo makes noise-random humany sounds, pretty birds, kissy sounds, unfortunately some bad words thanks to my husband, he can make jay bird sounds-no pretty singing however. :)

I'll have to try to record her! Maybe I'm just lucky :)

You might be fairly lucky. I don't have a lot of green cheek experience so I never heard one sing. I like the sound of their voices though.

My blue crowns "sing" sometimes but it sure isn't a pleasant song to listen to. A lot of off key pairs of honks and beeps, each pair rising or falling in pitch from the previous usually followed by 3 screeches each higher pitch than the preceding. The one really interesting thing about it is that they almost always hit the same pitch notes in the same sequence at the same time. Very coordinated song. I just can't get a good video of them doing it. I have one video on YouTube of them singing not long after they were introduced and became buddies. They were making the honks and beeps but hadn't yet figured out the timing so it is a mess of noise.

My green cheek can make a lot of cute noises, but nothing I would consider singing. You should try to get that on video!
