Hello I would like to introduce our lovely Dolly,
She is an older lady who came to live with us almost 2
years ago.
I have a question for members please - can Dolly
have pork rib bones? She loves chicken bones
but want to be safe

Welcome Dolly! What kind of Parrot? I would never give pork bones to big a risk
Of bacteria making her sick, just no way for me. I offer tiny pieces of boiled chicken right after I cook it and cool it under some water, I never feed left overs for risk if bacteria.

I also agree with the ladies, I wouldn’t feed any kind of pork including bones to a parrot, there are health risks and no benefits. Lots of healthier treat options. What kind of diet is Dolly accustomed to? We have a great diet forum if you’d like to browse.

Welome and be welcomed. Funny I asked the exat same question last week. The concensus was "not a good idea" . Salty threw his on the ground almost immediatly, so I wouldnt reccommend them either.
