Do any breeders know whether it's normal if a 9 week old GC's down look like little matted grey dust bunnies? I have been noticing little clumps of this under Tiki's cage, not excessive though. I know it's not dust bunnies because I just cleaned there, so I thought maybe it's tiki loosing his 'baby' down? Has any breeders seen this. He also appears to have one pin feather that is slow to break the sheath.
I vacuum them up every day. Sometimes there are more, sometimes less depending on if they are molting.
