Has anyone tried dried fruit and veggies?
Just seeing if they've been a hit or not.
I'm weaning my little guy and so far he won't touch fresh.
Hoping something will work.
Thanks.

I use both and since today Iris officially ate chop, I can say they all eat both quite happily. I used to get these for my birds and they loved them, but I have just been using my dehydrator and making my own these days.

Amazon.com: just veggies

Thanks. Do you rehydrate them before feeding?

Nope, just feed them dried. They love to crunch the corn and peas especially. I always have some dried stuff for those days when you just can't manage to do the right thing, like when I have the flu or something.

Thanks so much. I'll give it a whirl.

I have an Excalibur food dehydrator and I love it! Not only for the birds but myself as well. It is great for going to the farmers market and stocking up on stuff in season then drying it.

you need to start mixing fresh fruit/veggies in with his formula. If you're spoon feeding you can use some larger chunks.

Thanks for the tip.
