Would it be ok to layer the bottom of my birds cage with dri dek? She doesn't like to play on the bottom cause she can't walk well on the wires

Much of your question's answer depends on what kind of Parrot you have and what level of interest your Parrot has in chewing. It is fairly basic information and can help greatly in cases like this or worst a medical issue.

Regarding this product. It has a history for working well in a wide cross-section of applications. To my knowledge and you should verify this point. The plastic does not sweat surface oil(s) after the die mold release agent is cleaned from the surface. Assure that you clean this product with original dawn dish soap and hot water, rising well.

By the way, great idea, but please check what type of plastic is used prior to buy the product.

Those were my issues. Are the plastic safe and how much will she chew it.

as sailboat said, depends on the bird and their habits.

While I think that's really a great idea in-theory, I'd be horribly scared that the bird would start chewing it up and eating it. As already stated, you better make very certain that it's completely non-toxic...Plus, what happens to it if they do swallow some of it? Will they digest it, will it stay in it's current state and cause internal bleeding if they swallow a sharp edge, etc...

What about tiles? I've started to notice that she doesn't like to perch. She rather stand on a flat surface.
