Hi guys My names Aimee I have a blue quacker about 1 and a half he's names Charlie very quick learner and loves to cuddle and have a chat. I also have a femail ecalectus ebbie she's only 18weeks old she beautiful and now says hello but only when she wants to. She has this new thing where she will just scream when I come into the room I will pick her of her cage and when she's sitting on my chest she will nibble at my lip and try swallow it like when I us to hand spoon her. Is this for attention ??? I'm lost

My bird does the same thing, also tries to swallow fingers as well! its strange, hope someone has an answer!

They are still only babies & are displaying a feed response.

You will have to stop encouraging her to scream when you enter the room. It sounds like she has already learnt to scream for your attention. This behavior needs to stop now or it will be hard to extinguish.
