Morning all,

Well the past 3 mornings about 3am my 17 week old Eclectus male will wake me up with his sneezing.
it is not just once, it is numerous times followed by scratching his beak etc.

There is no discharge but it's very concerning. Very worrying.

He had a vet check last week who tested for PSCITTITOSIS AND did a dropping test.
all were clear.

I took him for a check up because I was concernedthat he was sneezing too much in general. Which turned out to be nnormal?

His diet is fruit and vegetables only.

Anyone recommend anything?

Allergies would be my guess. Ruby sneezes at certain times of the year, mostly when my pompas grass is blooming. Parrots are allergic to things just like people. If there is no discharge I wouldnt be concerned, especially since she has been vetted for it. If it goes on for more than a week or two, you may want to have additional vet visits.

Is he near a heating/ac vent or an open window? If he were older I would think it was from molting and scratching a bit but that first head/neck molt usually starts around 6 or 7 months, not 4.

Does he travel to a food dish to eat overnight? Is there anything dry in the dish like seed husks that could get in his nostrils? Just brain storming here.
