Perjo (CAG) is always expanding her whistling and sound making capabilities (not talking yet) and over the 3 months that I've had her home I've noticed birds gathering near my home and yard. Some even come up to the window nearest Perjo shortly after she's done her routine.

I attribute this to her singing and whistling b/c I've been here 8 years and never seen birds approach my windows or patio before.

However, in our area, that also means that the Red Tail Hawks will include our home for they young to practice hunting and develop they skills. Well at least one gets to watch the Fall and early Winter crashes and miss-haps at speed.

Morning attack at the bird feeder: High-speed flight down the South face of the house headed into the Sun, high-speed hard left bank around the Southeast corner of the house, level-out and reacquire target, hit at speed. Lots of precise flying and just as many places for an ooops or two.
