Winter last year in Maine where I live was colder than any other winter we had since I moved back here in 2017. Snow was reasonable until April when we got significant snow just about every week, making all of May nothing but time spent melting, as my sister in New Jersey 7 hours south welcomed green grass and leaves on the trees while our trees were barely budding. However Maine summers hit fast, hard and hot, and this year it lasted through early October. We had Temps in the low 90s the first week of October!
Now I'm NOT looking forward to the white stuff, not because I hate the cold, because temps in the 40s feel good to me, but my home addition project isn't completed, and the last thing I need right now is snowfall! I hope I get another few weeks without it so I can finish enough of this major six month long project to batten down the hatches for winter.
