So last night I went to my parents house to help with transportation of my brother to/from gymnastics training, just cause. I'm sure my dad wanted to go out. While sitting around, my dad's girlfriend and I were chatting, and she asked if I was doing anything tomorrow (tonight.) Of course, not working, I said no, and so she gave me an offer.
And now I'm gonna be leaving around 4 to work 5 or 6 to 2 AM ish for a Mardi Gras party as a host/drink mixer/picking up trash. Karen (My dad's girlfriend) is the bartender and she knows I'm pregnant and said I'll probably be spending most of my time behind the bar with her learning how to mix drinks, which is something I've always been interested in learning. Even though I'm not sore and my belly isn't really big enough to keep me from moving around for extended periods of time. I'm sure I need the exercise anyway.. :54:
Luckily though Yoshi and the conures will only have to be put away for roughly 3 hours of the daytime, as my boyfriend will be back by 8 PM to let them out again.
The cool part though is that it's a private party at some guy's mansion, so of course I won't be working for free..
Anything I make tonight is most likely going to be spent on Yoshi since his own mansion is rather empty.. and I'm really excited to fill it up and make it fun for him.
And plus my dad and his girlfriend and her close friends will be there, so I'll be in a familiar crowd. Super excited to get out and learn some new stuff!
