How much should I dilute it just for a regular cleanup? I have done 1:500.

More info: I use the "veterinary disinfect "

Excellent product, but a bit open-ended regarding cutting it. We use the same and have always used it at a 2-1 cut. But, we are using it for general cleaning within our home. Not in a demanding area like a Vet Clinic.

I think I should've added- I use it for my flock.

I actually just read a bunch of research papers on F10 dilutions a couple weeks ago before doing a big deep clean for Cotton.

I mostly was trying to make sure 1:250 is safe to use without rinsing (it is) but I didn't find enough evidence of using stronger solution in the presence of birds to feel safe going stronger than that.

This website summarizes the information I found:

"* General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)
* High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses (including coronavirus) at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)
* For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:125 (8ml in 1 litre)
For environmental control of protozoal oocysts (e.g. of cryptosporidium, coccidia and giardia) use at 1:100 (10ml in 1 litre)"
