Fargo went on a big adventure :D

I dont think i have ever been more proud of my little man!

I was at my computer watching how i met your mother, and i decided to just try put the harness on Fargo, i had been talking to Ashley about it trying to find out why he didnt like it and asking for advice!

Well, i sat there, got some nuts, he came over, and unlike usual, i didnt make a big deal out of it..

Usually i take it VERY slowly, this time, it just went on, head, wing, wing.. he was like wow!

So i ran outside.. NO SHOES!

Asked dad where mum was, ran down to the stables! which is about 100 metres down the hill.. So i ran and ran, Fargo was holding his wings out like he was flying!!

At first he was biting it, but if i ran, he would stop, so i just kept moving..

We then came up to the house and mum got the camera, and we went and met Kitai! He also was trying to climb inside the tree








And Kitai was soo gentle with him.. Fargo did meet Klaatu at the stables, but i dont think they liked each other

It's funny how parrots do the 'lean forward and wings out' move into the wind. I can't wait till you see how he reacts in the rain!

Hahaha Thanks guys, we had a blast!!

He let me take it off him perfectly, and he seriously just sat on my chest, and i swear it looked like he was smiling, then he wouldnt stop giving me kisses... So i think he enjoyed it

I love how tiny he looks compared to the big horse, see, how can anyone be scared of a macaw haha

Hopefully lots more adventures and pictures to come! Would be great to get him out each day and just go for long walks in the country!

I am super happy now as well, if he continues to like his harness, he wont ever have to be stuck at home!

That is great! I'm glad you were inspired to try again. I am hopeful to get my birds in harness's one day. I'm not so sure with Quincy. He's not very touchy feely! But maybe with Savannah one day. Loved your pictures by the way. Beautiful! Fargo is lucky to have you and you him!

I loved the pictures of Fargo going outside and meeting your horse! He seemed to really be enjoying himself. I like the pic of you running with Fargo. Your bond with him is so special I really enjoy your stories and pictures. I cannot wait to get Valentino outside myself. Now if Spring would only get here and be warm enough to take my cabin fever RFM out.

He has gained some weight since I first put the harness on him. I believe it should still fit though. I need to get him flying outside!
