Feathers

Hi I was wondering what test can be done on feathers? I was unable to take my BFA to her checkup so a friend took her for me. Our avian vet sent two of her feathers into a lab. She'll can next week with the results but I was curious.

It could be a way of DNA sexing your bird.

Dna sexing and some really sketchy PBFD tests (but they are not accurate at all---the blood ones are better, but still somewhat unreliable).
