I introduced my three conures to each other. My one year.old and my eight year old got along fine..with one little beak argument.. but my three month old is so attached to the one year old that he chased the eight year old around, viciously biting at him. The one year old actually stopped the 3 month old by biting his neck and holding him there. I feel kinda bad but I've decided to take the 3 month old away from the rest of the flock until he's more hand tame. Right now he doesn't know how soft to bite, so all of his bites are deep. I know he will miss the one year old.. but he annoys the one year old..and I don't want to risk hurting the eight year old

Just thinking if I was three months old and someone took away my best friend how I would feel.

Could you wait to introduce the older one instead of ripping the three month old's friend away, or is the three month old just not to be trusted even with the one year old? I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt either.

the three month old and one year old are great together. maybe I'll just make sure to keep the 8 year old in a different area.. and introduce them slower.. the three month old obviously needs more one on one time with people.

Dad you missed it the one yr was teaching Jr to behave he put a stop to the behavior and would have scolded the youngster better than you could on flock behavior, yes you need to referee but the one in charge of real peace making is the 1 yr old the older bird did not attack did he? no he tried to ignore the youngster but then the 1yr old stepped in and put a stop to it just like a wild flock would. Instinct at work we are just here to help it along.

You may need to keep the younger one separate until he/she is older. You may also want to have the young one eating tasty foods next/near the oldest. Having positive experiences between them may help them bond together better.

Just wondering -- have you tried the 3 mo and 8 yr together?
- just the two of them for a bit of time with someone watching nearby - and maybe you can go to another room and have one on one time with the 1 yr old at same time?

Looking back on your posts, it's seems that Loki and Button were already bonded, when you got the 8-year old...

No wonder Loki is mad...
