Finally! Enjoying bath time and new foods

So Peep has finally decided that showering is best when it comes to bathing. I turn on the shower in the sink and let it come slowly and h e is not just a clean bird, but a happy one!

I've slowly been getting Peep used to pellets, fresh veggies, fruit (strawberries the current favorite), eggs, and sweet potato. He can get grumpy when he doesn't get what he likes but he ends up trying what I give him. What a personality. Love his cheekiness!

I had exactly the same experience with JellyBean and bathing - finally introduced him to the shower - one seriously happy bird!!! Then he lets me preen all over his head and neck... so sweet!

Getting him to eat fresh fruit and veg has been hard - he loves blueberries, pear and apple.. but strawberries and grapes are his absolutely favourites...
