Elsa has had a poo stain on her tail since I brought her home. So it sparked the idea of giving her a shower. She wouldn't bath in the sink so I brought her in the shower with me and she had the option to stay on the shower rack or go in the water. She jumped on my head and began flapping her wings and doing the bathing dance. So that was a success! She looked so cool with wet feathers. She looks unrecognizable. To dry off she rubbed herself all over my shirt and actually climbed inside. And now she is currently preening my hair and her feathers.

This is her eating an apple before bedtime. I love how she uses her foot so much!

hahaha! That's the greatest! I love birds after showers or baths... they look hilarious! With Avery's pin feathers, I let her come with me in the shower every morning because she turns into the most docile creature in the world for some random reason. She kind of just tolerates showers and sits there, lets me spray water all over her, open her wings up (she doesn't get excited about showers like some birds), and also open pin feathers.

Then, when I take her out so she doesn't over heat while I finish, she sits on the towel rack and whistles/squawks up a storm! It's my own little shower melody, haha! Elsa sure is a cutie! I wish Avery would get as excited as that :)
