Flight feathers

Hi, everyone.

My little guy has started his first molt about 2weeks ago. I'm just wondering will this mean his flight feathers will return? I prefer to have him fully flighted, but the breeder clips all his birds before sale etc..

Yes after completing the molt your baby will be fully flighted. What do you have?

Not necessarily. Not all feathers are replaced during a molt. You can expect that some flight feathers will be replaced with this molt but it could take another molt before the bird can fly well.
