Its been a while since I've done a flock photo blast, so I thought I would :) Doesn't include everyone, but a few of my favorite pics from lately.

Start with a picture of Jackie, since I mentioned her on my other recent post.

And Battle since we are looking at Cockatiels...
]

And another of Battle just because I love this picture

Tucson is making progress! He FLAPPED HIS WINGS!! He also now asks for baths, and he went to a parrot club meeting and didn't bite anyone :)

Mel is thriving, a far cry from the scared little birdy that I met over a year ago. Also, this is the only way she will eat greens. She wont touch it in chop, it needs a STEM!

Cache, the little darling of the flock

Flick, keeping watch over the neighborhood

Hapu the girl who was brought into a pet store IN A PLASTIC BAG. I have reason to believe she may have actually been wild caught :(

Nani the girl with a bad beak injury and horrible nutrition. She is hiding the worst of her beak which is warped and striped. This is the day I brought her home

Ranger, protector of the flock

And my sweet Phoenix; Fly free

why they are all beatiful. i love the one of jackie and also the one of tucson. you have some amazing and beautiful birds!:white1::yellow1::):)

Thank you! I find them all to be quite marvelous :) Jackie doesn't get enough credit for her beauty, IMO ;)

Those are great pictures !!! You can see their well loved birds . like "Battle " all snuggled up :)

Battle would snuggle my husband all day every day if permitted, and only take breaks to eat. In fact, if she could eat and snuggle him at the same time, she would. Too bad for her (and me) he has a very demanding job that keeps him away a lot.

Funny you should mention the blush, since Battle is white faced and doesn't have the cheek patches :)

Oh your flock looks MARVELOUS, Dani!!! :smile015:

The picture of Phoenix choked me up.

And Dani, it's time to shave. ;) (I'm kidding, I know this is Mr Dani!!)

Can you adopt me? I'm quiet and I don't bite! I just need coffee and head pats every now and again.

That picture of Battle is one of the cutest I've ever seen of a cockatiel. Cover shot of something! It really shows how sweet they can be. Awww!

All your babies are beautiful and look so loved. Glad you shared.

Such great photos of your wonderful flock! Thanks for sharing! :D

Sorry, but this is a coffee free home. If you can make do on milk, then sure! Or if you need a safe place to live after your owners got tired of you and until we can find you a real family, we do a lot of that too ;)

What, you doubt my ability to grow a beard? Lol yes that is my husband, and Battle likes to preen his stubble and bite any imperfections :54:

Hard to believe someone would just dump such a sweet bird into the wild to fend for herself.

Such sweet babies! Jackie is very pretty. Is she as dark in real life as the photo? I've never seen a cockatiel that dark before.

Yes, she is a normal grey female, split pied. You don't see a ton of them available because they are considered one of the "least desireable colors" but I think they are lovely.

Such a wonderful family! I have been so afraid to add to my flock, JoJo and me! There is a DYH zone that melts my heart every time I visit her. She seems to respond to me the same way, but she is 7 and I am in my 60's! I know my JoJo loves cocktails, parakeets, and parrotlets, so if I ever got her/me an addition, I would most likely go in this direction.

A lot of people are afraid to add birds in case they don't get along. I'll tell you a secret; mine don't all get along! Flick is a piece of work, and Mel is threatened by other birds, cache is a very hobbit bird, Titan has no social skills... But they have learned to share space. Sort of. You learn to use different play stands and teach boundaries, not everyone has to be best friends :)

Dani, all your birds are beauties! Very nice pictorial essay and update. Bandit and Jackie look like real sweethearts. I think cockatiels are so pretty no matter what mutation but the normal greys are just as pretty as the rest, IMO.
