Is this an agressive behavior or show off or what? I have read alot of people state that its an aggressive one. My Kawie does it when you lean your head in toward him, then if you start moving your head up and down he will mimic you and then let out a call after a few seconds. Its adorable and he never seems irritated or annoyed when he does it. And he will let you give kisses or touch his beak just after doing it etc.

Fluffing of the head, face and breast are usually happy behaviors. Fluffing of the nexk, back of the neck and wings with wings slightly lifted are usually a stand back I am not to comfortable behavior.
Sounds like you have a happy bird.

He does reach out his neck, but the fluffing is definately on the back of the head and his wing feathers and he kind of bends over a lifts his wings a little bit. When he first did it I was cautious as I thought maybe it was a defensive posture but then if you start to bob your head up and down he mimics you and then calls out, then flattens down alot. I think its a game for him. He has done it several times a day since we got him back in April. I just wanted some opinions as it is possible I could be misreading his body language.
