I am fairly new to the bird world i have a GCC and i have been doing tons of research about healthy food for them what i am having trouble grasping i guess or maybe im misunderstanding but is there not any set diet plans that get fed on a regular basis with no change or is it really just what ever you feel like making them that day and what you think they need to have weather it be more pasta or more veggies or fruit i mean obviously you can decide what diet regimen you want them on but are there actual diets like for instance i have Sugar Gliders they are on a diet called Reeps a meat and supplement mixture every night and rotating veggies and fruits each night im so used to order and precision because of my gliders and everything having to be perfect all the time am i making this to complicated is it really as simple as what i feel they should have each day based on proper diet ratios of proteins and what not? sorry i tend to babble lol

well yeah it can be regimented but we all get tired of spagethi wensday and fish friday every week birds are sometimes picky eaters so that is why most keep the fruits and veggies changing (that and they waste most of it anyway) and let the pellets cover all the major health requirements. Keep it fun and keep pushing them to try new foods but know that you will be eating most of the foods you buy for them so buy califlower or brocoli flowretes (ok spelling not my strong suite) not a whole head and when you peel an oranges for them understand your going to be eating all but maybe two slices of the orange. I tell people I eat much healthier since I own birds.
