For those who shop Petco locally

I just wanted to point out the incredible price spread between online and in store.
One item, Furminator deshedding brush, large, in store, $63+ online, $26+
Chewy, $14!
Also, with Petco, you can return items to a local store!

I don't shop at Petco online, but I get online prices whenever I can. (they'll honor their online prices in store - sometimes requires manager approval to get the online price!)

It came in handy today - I was able to buy two three pound bags of Higgin's seed mix for eighteen dollars... instead of their in-store price of thirteen dollars a bag!

Edit: Forgot to add... I just took a screenshot of the online item page and presented that at checkout to prove the price for them to price-match it. The first time I went in the store, I didn't have it, and just bought toys that day instead of food.

If you shop at the store but get the online price, remember to bring proof of it. (If you have a smartphone, you can also just open up the webpage itself)

Just last week, a rope perch, in store, 18 bucks, online 8.50, got the online price!

I use the rope perches on the outside of the cage because I can make them bend and shape to be stationed over the newspaper / mat the cage is situated on...

...I'm gonna have to do some store stalking to snatch up some more!

Of course stores have more overhead costs ( people there, nice display-space etc.etc.) but sometimes the pricedifferences are insane.

Petsmart will also price match to their online store and Chewy.... granted, from what I've seen, in store and online price is often the same... but in the off chance it's cheaper online, you can do it that way, too!
