WOW, Sharon, you did such a beautiful, fantastic, and creative job!! :D I absolutely LOVE it!

I'm sure Fred will learn to love it in no time at all, gosh, there is SO much to do there for him. Makes me wanna come and play. ;)

Thanks Wendy! My husband did most of the construction...I just explained what I wanted.
I did add the fake plants and butterfly decals to help take some of the "ugly" from the PVC. The PVC will last forever, and the perches are removable. I'll just slide new ones in to replace those that he chews to bits...He's already working on whittling one of them!

I actually LOVE the added charm of the plants. It truly looks inviting, butterflies, plants, toys and all. :) And the extra bonus is that the perches can be replaced easily if you need to. :D

I have always heard that pvc had a dangerous chemical in it. Does it not? Wow, that was a great idea. Yep, pvc is hard to chew too. That one should last a while.

I am afraid for your bird in spite of the nice perch. PVC does have a dangerous chemical. I just looked on the internet. It it known as the poison plastic. Keep a good eye on your bird, especaily if it is chewing on it.

I am sure Fred will have hours of fun on that:)

WOW, fantastic job.:)

I am just curious. Why do you not allow your bird peanuts? I have always given my bird nuts of all kinds, but not bu one or two a week. I try to pick out the small ones that have just one nut in them and give to her.
I do not give her seeds. I feed her pellets, but I thought nuts was all right as a treat. Is there something I have not learned over all these years? Should I not be giving my bird nuts? She eats nuts, celery, lobster, crab, spagetti, lasanga, carrots, peppers, and just about everything I eat but chicken. She will not touch any type of fowl, but she loves to chew on the bone. She likes the marrow in the bone.

Thanks guys!:)

I don't give peanuts as the shells can harbour a very dangerous fungus. It's just not worth the risk for me...
