I am trying to convince Osky to eat more veggies, and I was wondering if I could feed him those frozen corn or peas that come in a bag? The only listed ingredient on the corn is corn, but would it be too manufactured and have chemicals that are bad for birds? It is the Whole Foods brand if it makes a difference. Thanks! :rainbow1:

I buy organic frozen vegetables (carrots, peas, lima beans, green beans, and corn) and have not had any problems with it.

I don't just offer this tho, as fresh vegetables are also offered as often as possible.

Surely if you buy good quality and not the cheapest brand out there it should be fine?

I use frozen now and then . Also if I am not mistaken Wendys Chop recipe calls for frozen veggies. So yes its fine.

Cool! Thanks. Now hopefully he will eat them...

I also feed frozen veggies as my guys breakfast, and run them under hot water to thaw. Mine like them warmer though so I also heat a bit more than that. I usually mix it with rice or quinoa. My finches go crazy for it.
They always get fresh chop in the evenings for dinner:)
