Wife and I were sitting in the office today (birdless for once). We could hear the Zons carrying on about something, their vocabulary is definitely improving! Anyway, Our boy Conner comes into the office and goes; "Did y'all call me?" :54: He's standing in the doorway and you can hear the Zon's calling his name!!! He's like "NO WAY, they're calling my name!!!" The expression on his face was absolutely priceless!!

That is funny! We also had a funny thing happen. First off we have people coming and going all day from our home. every time one of our employees comes in they always yell "hello!". A storm came up while we were out but we didnt worry about it because we have a back up generator and its never let us down, until now. We came home o a completely black house! Not a flashlight to be had (we haven't needed one in years!). As we are stumbling around we hear "hello!" My husband is yelling back "hello!" Back and forth this goes on. Finally mike comes crashing through the room yelling "it's the birds! Make them stop!" I couldn't stop laughing! He was so mad because he's afraid of the birds! He just kept yelling their freaking me out!

My grandparents had a Grey who used to call my grandfather (in my grandmothers voice) to answer the phone, or come have some coffee. It was hilarious.

I've got something a bit similar: YEARS ago, when the boys were still smaller, and I only had Hunter, I was using the bathroom downstairs and then I heard "MOM". As clear as day, sounding just like my Mark. I hollered back that I was in the bathroom. 2 seconds later "MOM". "I'm in the bathroom," I repeated. When "he" called me again, I yanked the bathroom door open and hollered: "Gosh, can't I even go potty in peace and quiet for 5 minutes?" Just as I was done saying it, the front door opened and Mark walked in.

Yea, the look on his face is what got me, he was in total shock at first then you could see the gleam in his eyes about how "cool" he thought it was. Think it made him feel special that they learned his name before ours.

I had something similar happen to me yesterday. I was in the bathroom trying to brush my cat (trying being the key word) and Lola was in the living room on top of her cage. I could hear her yelling "Hello! Hello! Lola! Pretty Bird! Hello!" to get my attention but I didnt pay much mind to it. Then I heard " AIMEE! HELLO LOLA!" I walked out into the living room at the same time my mom walked into the living room from her room. I was like "did she just say my name?" My mom was like "I think she did" lol I was in shock. Ive only had her like 3 weeks, I didnt think she wouldve learned my name in that time.
