Cairo loves almonds, but after his hospitalisation, if the vet or one of the techs gives him an almond, he spits it out in spite. *sigh, that boy.... Love his spunk
My Baby Kise does the waves, turns around, flap wings, kisses, every time she heard the nutcracker cracked the almond. Only the almonds are still in its shelf, she will spit it our if it's from the can/bag that already cracked open from the store.
Well... it dose taste different when you just crack ant eat it on the spot.
Her new favorite treats are from TOPS now. She loves them very much.

Kane, my Senegal, loves nothing more than a whole almond in the shell. He will literally grab it out of my hand and quickly crack it open so I don't take it back from him...
Bumble can’t crack them herself, but she loves them and when I let her bite the skinny end off of one, it’s always accompanied by her excited happy chirps.
I offered Fizz an almond in the shell the other day (the first nut I ever offered him, he’s been with me 2 weeks). Apparently it resembled the birdy devil because he took off terrified, lol.
