hi, i have a 22wk yellow crowned amazon that only wants to eat seed. i want to get him on a pelleted diet and fruit. please help.

let him see you eating ther fruit an even pellets then start reducing seed an put pellets in as well

This can be tough but you can get the bird to eat pellets and fresh foods. Some people just simply stop seed cold turkey. You bird will not starve himself, especiall a zon.

If you remove seeds then a healty Amazon will eat pellets in 2-3 dayes but in this case, but of cause he/she should have veg as well.
