Hi Everyone,
well, I like all sorts of gummie bears or gummie snacks. Like regular Haribo gummie bears or also some of the "real" fruit gummie snacks or fruit roll-ups.
Now, my GCC, Pico is 1. ALWAYS on or close to me and 2. is VERY nosy. So if I try to eat gummie bears or snack, he first comes and tries to lick them or sometimes tries to nibble on one.... Of course, I don't really want him to have one..... but he is also really sneaky, so while I eat my gummie bears and watch TV, he inches closer and closer to the bag and tries to steal one.... hahahaha and if he manages to get one, he runs really fast away.....
I looked all over, but could not find any info if either gummie bears or these gummie fruit snacks or fruit roll-ups are bad for parrots. I also have to mentions, that Pico does not really get a whole lot of sweets.... He usually loves nuts and real fruits..... And I am not planning to feed him gummie bears either, I was just wondering if I should be concerned if for any reason he gets a hold of a gummie and eats it.
Anyone knows ?
Thx,
Pico and Tom
