Going on vacation

I'm going on vacation just to my MIL house for 4 days. What does everyone do when they go away. I have cat carriers and I thought I would put the birds in them and take them with me. I have 2 smaller cages that I can put in the back of the truck so when I get there I can put the birds in them.

I just wondered what everyone else does with their birds when they go on vacation?

I brought a travel cage that has a perch on top. She did great. We were at my parents house for 5 nights. It was a 3 hour drive each way (with 2 dogs riding next to her).

I have to say that I think using her travel cage as her sleep cage makes life much easier. She is already adjusted to her space. Since the outside area was changing so drastically I was happy to keep that part consistent.
