These are a list of some of the fruits and vegetables my parrots have tried and like:

Lettuce,
Romaine Lettuce,
Carrots,
Celery, (just the stalk cuz the leaves are bad for your bird)
Bell Pepper,
Raspberries,
Strawberries,
Blueberries,
Blackberries,
Granny Smith Apples,
Spinach,
Banana,
Broccoli,


A Chop Recipe That I Make All The Time Is,

Lettuce,
Romaine Lettuce,
Spinach,
Carrots,
Strawberries,
Broccoli,
Granny Smith Apples,
Bell Pepper, &
Celery

I think you are confused, or I am missing something, because as far as I know the stalk can be dangerous due to the fibers, and leaves are safe. Maybe I'm wrong.

Nice! Though lettuce shouldn't be a big part of the diet. Romaine is ok as a smaller part. Fruit should be 10% or less for most species.

By "lettuce", what type do you mean?


Carrots are a must in my chop, we eat it a lot so there's always enough for the birds.
