Great-billed parrots

Anyone seen these guys? Went to the LBS (local bird shop) looking for TOPs and saw this bird that I at first thought was an Eckie, turned out to be a great-billed. They had a total of 3. Gorgeous bird.

Not thinking of bringing it home (at $1750 it was out of my price range regardless) but I thought it was gorgeous and that was the first time I've seen one.

Never heard of them but quickly googled it - they are gorgeous, aren't they?

I think their bigger than they look in pictures Must be a rarer bird [you don't hear about too many [I think the price tag says it too.]

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to say that I've seen one in person before. I hear they make great pets!
