Green cheek diet

Hi everyone. One of my green cheeks named Bella has half of his bottom beak missing. He doesn't/can't eat small seeds. He commonly eats safflower seeds and I'm pretty sure he eats some of the fresh foods I put in for them. I have been giving them pellets mixed in with their seeds but they just throw them in the water bowl. So I'm not sure if they are eating them or not. I feed cockatiel sized seed right now. Should I be feeding medium parrot sized seed? Because I think Bella would be able to grab the pieces easier.
