Thanks so much for letting me join the Forum! I've already gained much knowledge from you, in our search for "What Kind Of Parrot To Get" that has occupied much of our time for the last couple of months. We're newly retired and I THINK we have found our new baby! She's a Indian Ring Neck, rehome, and has not been handled much, sounds like her present Mama is fairly tentative with her. We've some challenges ahead but look forward to the rewards of our new family member!

Hi and welcome to the community. Would love to see some of her pics.

Hello and welcome! When will you be bringing her home? Please share pics when she comes home, I would love to see her:)
So glad you joined us!

Welcome Lindy! Looking forward to hearing more about your new addition!

Thanks! IF everything works out.. (Owners change their mind sometimes we have found out ) we should be picking her up on the 27th!

Maybe the 27th if all works out, and she doesn't change her mind,,

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! But even if she changes her mind, there will be another just waiting for you to find her (or him).

Fingers and toes crossed here too Lindy!
IRN's are easily my favourite....can we play favourites? Lol all my fids, but I'm going to...
Henry is so chatty and entertaining, insanely smart but with the right amount of independence. It can be hard winning them over if they haven't been handled much, but it is possible! Looking forward to watching your journey...

Welcome to the forum AND retirement! The latter is a few years away for me, but I am going to greet it like a long lost friend! Enjoy!!

Just remember, one bird often leads to more birds, something we call Multiple Bird Syndrome!!
