Greetings from a new member/ new owner of a b&g !!!

Good evening everyone, my name is james and I am a newbie in owning a blue and gold macaw. I purchased it for my daughters as they always wanted one and I finally got them one and have fallen for him as well since he has been home with us. His name is Teko and he is 3 yrs old, I purchased him from a highly recommended bird shop and it has been a fun week! I have a few questions that I hope can be answered. Thanks in advance. Teko has sneezed a couple of times tonight and last night and tonight he has made almost a snoring noise while his beak is chattering? Is this a normal thing with them? Thank you.

Well the sneezed may be a thing he picked up.. my does that a lot but he checked out fine at the vet. something he learn from me. so.. now the beak was it a grinding noise, if so that means he is relax. but if not i dk what it is n u may want to get him check out at ur vet to see what it is. but we would like to see pics of him..Best of Luck

welcome and congratulations on your new family member
with the sneezing i wouldnt be too worried unless there is discharge from his nose. otherwise it might be from the weather or just some dust that got up there.. just like humans, we sneeze for no reason sometimes haha

and as macaw guy said is it a grinding noise with his beak?
