Hiya! New here, not to parrot ownership. Had an African Gray & BnG macaw. BnG flew away 20+ years ago and Gray died in house fire 16 years ago. Hasn't been same since so almost 3 yrs ago we got another gray & a U2. Daughter has her own alexandrite that lives with us too. Yesterday we just adopted a 30 yr old yellow nape zon.
Hmmm, married, 2 kids, 3 cats, 3 sugar gliders and a bearded dragon. Had a dog but had to put him down in October (old age & bad heart).

Thanks everyone. I'll try to get photos when I can & share them. Yeah losing a dog or any pet for that matter, is never an easy thing. They are family members and that loss is not much different than losing a human loved one.
