So nice to see you and Hahnzel back again:) That is def the look of "spoiled and knows it".

It's also the "what was that noise?" and of course, "time to bite you for no apparent reason!" Look...

Hahnzel has got that sweet and innocent "Who, me?" look down pat! Lol! No wonder he's spoiled. Who could deny that face?

Yeah, she's just plotting

Oh man...what size difference between Hahnzel and a "normal" Mac

Still, a powerhouse in her own right,I am sure. And what a beautiful girl to boot!

Hey! Welcome back to you and Hahnzel :). What a little cutie she is.

Just saw my first Hahn' in person and realized how tiny they are in their own right, not even in comparison with a full size Mac. Smaller then a Jenday conure even. This one was fiesty, but stepped up easily. Of course staying there.... A very cute macaw and was on my short list when we started to look again.

I have so missed Hahnzel! I can't believe I missed this thread!

Aww look at the precious baby! Here soon we can swap pictures when I bring my girlie home!

The Rbird is 18 inches and 9 ounces. But his first inspiration was a Hahn's in the bird store where I found him as a 3 month old chick. He didn't care much for the bird but DID learn his name... Rickey. I wasn't sure he'd ever learn more words, so the name stuck. So wherever you are, Rickey the Hahn's... back at ya!
And yes, Hahnzel... you're beautiful and clearly a stinker. And your name is one of cleverest EVER.

Just came back again after another long layoff. Hahnzel is still with us, 10 years old now. She's had to make lots of adjustments as my side job and main job keep me very busy now.

Welcome back @goalerjones - again! Looks to me like spoiling Hahnzel rotten is your main job, and a mighty fine job you're doing of it too :)

spoiling, grooming, and maintaining her palace... those feather casings aren't crack themselves!

It's funny about pet, and especially bird ownership in general, I don't maintain my presence on the forums unless I have a question I can't answer. One thing in general that's hard is the bereavement aspect of our fids. I've heard lots of stories that break my heart, especially the Teflon and aerosolized scents kind. I tend to preach to the newbies at the bird store about the evils of Teflon and self-cleaning ovens.
