He went just over a month without ANY but then sadly this week he had one bad night out of the blue. Got some calcium into him immediately and it resolved fairly quickly. So overall he's doing MUCH better. I really hope his levels can get back up to normal so we can resume flight training and showers and all those things that take up a lot of energy.
But for now I am just thankful he's alive and I can treat these 'episodes' as they happen. I really thought I was going to lose him before. He's my everything.
Thanks everyone for the bday wishes, I am passing them all along to him

HAPPY BIRDDAY,Jasper. Next Year Mom should have a Skype party, that can be fun, with other parrots. Here's to many more.

Loved the video, Katie! My favorite parts were his initial reaction to the your bringing the gifts over: "Gasp! For me??? Oooooooh!" and his reaction to the unveiled 2nd gift: "Okay, that thing is freaking me out. I'm trying to stay cool, but you sure it won't eat me, Mom?".
