Happy Ending :-)

Just adding to the post of unhappy ending which was done previously about losing our new 2nd eclectus.
He is now home with us. The previous owner again contacted me this morning and did the same thing " your hubby said you would take him back , can you come and get him ". I told this person that the condition is that he signs him over to us. He has signed him over to us, has been picked up and settled back into his cage, new home, new family with a new name.
I was very very upset when I posted previous thread. I did in part felt I was being attacked at some point, but it was probably me over reacting, sorry to all.
He is here with us and he isnt going anywhere now, am very happy, my husband is on his way home from the airport now after being away a few days and will be very pleased to see him, he considered Billy to be "his" bird.

Yay for happy endings! I'm glad he is with you know. It'll be good for him to have a good stable family, I feel bad for him for having to bounce back and forth like that, it did seem as though his previous owner had too much on his plate, I'm sure he'll be much happier with you!

Congratulations on finally getting sole custody of your Ekkie.

You'll find that members of this board love their fids fiercely.

Anything you might have thought was an "attack" was probably just their frustration at seeing him getting tossed back and forth, almost as frustrated as you were.

We hope to hear good things in his future.

Yes Fluffy was his previous name, not very fitting for an ekky. Im pretty sure Billy fits better, now I have Billy boy and Jacky boy

Oh i am so so happy that he's back home with his true mommy and daddy, I read your last post and was so very heart broken at how it was going and we were hoping and praying he would come home in the end. Now i am so glad he is home and my son even jumped for joy (he's 7 and i told him the other story) when he heard billy is home!
