- Princess parrots,
Pretty boy (Charlie),
Pretty girl and
2 pretty babies
Hello, my name is Leanne and I have joined here to gain some valuable advice and information on all things "parrot".
I had the fortune to be adopted by a wayward male princess parrot whose owner I could not find. He appeared with a flock of wild king parrots who were interested in the food we lay out for the wild birds. Instead of staying with them he was determined that he was staying, he knew he found a good home and simply flew onto our shoulders and that was that. I believe that his name is Charlie, but he does fancy himself as a pretty boy, which indeed he is.
To make his life more complete we found him a female as I thought that he might have been looking for bird company and that was why he left his former home. Pretty girl has tolerated him, however they did manage to do the wild thing and I have two gorgeous little poppets almost ready to take on the world. The birds are all housed in a cage in our lounge room and have flying time every day around the room which we all enjoy.
I also have two other pets, my beautiful cavaliers who are always at the centre stage of life.
I come from Melbourne in Australia and look forward to hearing more about everyone else's babies
