Well.

Slowly . But he's not frightened of it and I'm having to adjust to a different method and hope it works , granted I have been lazy and not Consistent with it with I know isn't going to help

We're waiting for updates when he wears it! How long are you training him?

I've been really lazy with it to be honest , but I'm only doing very short 2-3 min sessions , and ending it on a good note so he doesn't get bored (I get bored faster so I think that's part of my problem )

Mabel learned to wear her harness in 2 weeks.
I agree it's pretty boring when you training them but when they go finally outside it's awesome!

That's what I want, I just lack motivation to keep it up .

Well...something interesting just happened .

Albie started to play with his harness, and when I didn't give him a seed he threw an empty shell at me !

I think he wants to do more training !

I’m about to start this with Ona! Yay for making progress with Albie!! I was planning to use these tips:

You know what I always say about training
Be immediate
Be Consistent
Be Patient

Took Salty a whole year to accept putting the harness on with no issues, training every single night.

I know I know , I know the issue is with me and being lazy 😄 we will get there eventually

Try setting aside 15 minutes every day or night, for training and stick to it. We do ours at 8:45 PM religiously. If I miss it, for some reason, Salty gets his treats anyway, we call it " Freebie Time", and he appreciates it. Clearly Stitch is a smart birdie, he will get it.
