Hello all! I purchased an aviator harness for Eva a couple weeks ago and attached it to the outside of her cage so she could get used to it. I've had her out several times with the harness in her line of sight, trying to move it a little closer each time. However, she always ends up flying away. Can't even think about trying to gently touch her with it because she flies before it can get anywhere close enough. She doesn't seem bothered at all by it when it is attached to her cage. Can anyone give me ideas on how to warm her up to it? Any time she flies away from me, I don't push it. I don't ever try to hold her and force is closer as I know this will only make her more scared. However, I can't really figure out what to do despite watching how the parrot wizard did it along with the DVD that came with the harness. Really wanting her to love it so I can take her to the park and bird store in nice weather!
