A crossover Quaker Scuti (F), A Sun conure named AC, A Cinnamon Green Cheek conure Kent, and 6 budgies, Scuti Jr. (f), yellow (m), clark Jr. (m), Dot (f), Zebra(f), Machine (m).
Clark used to be the leader and passed away in an accident. My new un-named, soon to be named, baby GCC has decided yep I'm flock leader.....

anyone else have a GCC take on everyone and decide they are flock leader? The sun conure and the quaker are like nope. You win.

I mean Clark was a warrior, nice to some and decisive to others.... I thought it was just her being into me. But this new GCC is like 8? weeks weened and like um... sun conure, the quakers and all the budgies.... all mine now. ALL MINE. I rule all the birds.

She doesn't abuse the others, but don't go near her apple.... Do GCCs often rule the entire flock? Pit Bulls of parrots it seems.

yes! Ta-dah queen bee! They have no back down in them. They can get in trouble with other species than you have because of that

LOL, some individual parrots just have that streak of dominance in them. My little beeBee parrot, Max, would think nothing of bullying cockatoos and Amazons when we took him to the local bird store where all the parrots were held in a communal play area, waiting to be clipped or groomed. Max would chase off these birds from where he decided his perch was. I've seen a few parrotlets that did the same thing! NO FEAR !!
