On Thursday me and Polly is going to the vet. checking health and get a DNA test. What I know of she is not sick but I would like a vet to check. Hope the vet is not a chicken lol

Its always a good idea to do well care. Hope everything is great.

;)
nothing better then peace of mind :)

Yes peace of mind is nessesery when close conected to a perrot and it is important to get av firs contach with the vet so that when, good forbiden a problem is reality the she already know the bird. This bird vet is one of the best i Sweden and have studiet in USA and she is really good and sensitive handling a perrot " and she is good locking" so I thing we have to go there again quite soon again ;)

Thanks for the reminder that I need to go get a wellness check for Quack ! It's good you are doing so because many avian vets will not take emergencies that are not their clients already. Plus, if they have no baseline of what is normal for YOUR bird, then they can't really say if anything has changed!

Each and every one of our birds should have an annual check up by an avian vet. do people do this? I am not sure but I do. They do the exam, check droppings and will do screening blood work. Also the vets love to do education for any of your questions.
