I'm in south central texas, born and raised just east of Weird (Austin). I had several small hookbills (cockatiels and conures) in my teens and early 20s. I also raised pheasants and peafowl in my 30s and 40s.

I was a farm boy, machinist, and millwright. Currently self employed and semi retired.

I now have the time to devote and have been adopted by a female CAG. Or should I say I'm currently owned by a CAG?

I would like to thank the members of this forum in advance for the advise and answers that I feel they can surely provide and also the opportunity to participate.

A warm welcome to you and your Congo! We have a thriving community with many folks owned by Greys!

Welcome! I hope you’ll share pictures of your current owner :)

I like your style already.

Ummm... may I just call you TOM? :)

Welcome!

There are many of us here, CAG servants, who flock to this site (pun intended) to get info on how to better please our bosses.

We can’t help it!

Welcome again!

Gila,

You can call me whatever you want as long as you don't forget to call me for dinner.

Tom sounds great. That is the name of my favorite brother-in-law. An exceptional man.

I would be honored.

Also wanted to apologize for not posting pics today like I promised. Got a little down because of her weight this morning and just didn't think to take some decent shots of the Feathered Boss.
I will try tomorrow. I am also busy reading Sailboat's stickey in the Amazon forum. If you have missed it than you missed a wealth of information and shedding more than a few tears.

I also need to read the instuctions for posting pics. I started to then got distracted by 'Boats stickey in the Amazon section.

Have a good evening all. The boss has been put to bed and now it is my turn.

Welcome to you and your fids! Look forward to pics.

Welcome to distraction central! So glad you found your way here. How did you find ParrotForums?
